I’m Brent Paul Baker—a Texas-born artist living and working in Arizona. My paintings are rooted in the quiet beauty of the American Southwest, coastal escapes, and tropical places that invite a deep breath and a slower pace. These are scenes that feel calm, expansive, and familiar—like somewhere you’ve been, or hope to go.

 

I work primarily in acrylic, drawn to its versatility and the way it allows me to build light, texture, and rich color. My eye for composition was shaped early on through my background in graphic design, but my love for painting goes back even further—sitting beside my dad as a kid, watching him sketch and paint. Years later, I came across a box of his old brushes, and something clicked. That moment pulled me back to the canvas with a new sense of purpose.

 

Today, I focus on creating original fine art prints that bring a sense of place and peace into people’s homes. My work is simple, crafted with care, and meant to be lived with—quiet companions that carry the feeling of somewhere meaningful.
